No Anal Retentives Here At This Blog

I have read some other blogs on cactus, yucca, palm and other plant growing and some people can really be anal. They seem like they have very little to do in life but be anal about plant growing.

Growing plants and commenting about their natural environments should be fun, not a "keep up with the Joneses" routine. I have been on some boards and the some people are so serious they must seriously be constipated.

Have fun with your plants. Talk to them. Talk to yourself. Show them off to the bastard uncle who can't stand them. When you discuss habitats do the same thing. Don't take your own dear selves to seriously.

Why do you think we call this blog site what we do "Cactus and Yucca Rebel?" It is because we enjoy hugging the cacti, we sit on them, we love pain. Yuccas provide pleasure beyond what I can mention on this blog.

Okay, so I am a bit over the edge on my humor, but I hope to make the point(no pun intended).

Kirk and I enjoy heading out on adventures and adding some spice to the art of desert plant and palm growing. If your going to have a hobby make it fun! If you are going to be "right" about everything and have no sense of humor you should maybe try to watch "Ahmed, the Dead Terrorist" on YouTube.
